**Table Saw Operator - 2nd Shift**



To cut a variety of aircraft fabrication materials and parts.


I. Sets up and operates table saw to cut a variety of aircraft materials and parts in accordance with specifications.

A. Saws a wide variety of angles, double angles and straight cuts to tolerance with templates, saw fixtures and meter guide.

B. Feeds uniformly to prevent unnecessary trimming and filing and checks meter or guide periodically to ensure correct cut.

II. Stores and stacks material or parts in an orderly manner.

III. Uses measuring devices such as scale, protractor and calipers.

IV. Responsible only for own work.

V. Performs other related duties as required.



High school education or equivalent. Requires the use of shop arithmetic such as addition and subtraction of decimals and fractions, together with ordinary blueprints and some measuring devices.


3-6 months table saw or related experience using and determining double angles.


Continuous exposure to several disagreeable elements.
